Boyer Planning, acting on behalf of Linden Wates (Dorking) Ltd, successfully obtained planning permission at appeal for 38 market and affordable homes on a reserve housing site in Mole Valley District. Boyer provided expert witnesses on planning and design matters, and successfully argued that there was a need to release the reserve site in order to maintain a sufficient supply of housing in accordance with the development plan. The inspector agreed with Boyer Planning’s position on design that the scheme would create an attractive sequence of spaces with well designed houses and would not be harmful to the character and appearance of the area or highway safety.
